John Catlin finished the LIV Golf season with Legion XIII, replacing Jon Rahm in Dallas. Following the conclusion of the Team Championship, he changed his profile picture on social media.
Catlin played in the semifinals and final of the Team Championship for Legion XIII after Jon Rahm withdrew from the event. In the final, Legion XIII finished fourth in the standings after shooting 6-under.
On Monday, September 23, Catlin changed his profile picture to one of him posing with the Saudi Open trophy.
For the uninitiated, the 33-year-old golfer won at the Riyadh Golf Club, beating Wade Ormsby by a whopping seven strokes. This was his second win of the season and sixth overall on the Asian Tour. He had also won the International Series Macau, defeating David Puig in a playoff hole.

John Catlin filled in for Jon Rahm in the Team Championship in Dallas. He lost the singles match against Cameron Tringale in the semifinals, but the team advanced to the finals. On Sunday, September 22, Catlin carded a 2-under 70 and was the second-best player on the team behind Tyrrell Hatton.
Catlin played six events in the LIV Golf 2024 season as a wildcard. His best result was a T7 finish in Nashville. He also played five events on the DP World Tour and registered a season-best T10 finish at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
