Justin Thomas steals spotlight in Netflix Full Swing's latest teaser

The new trailer for Full Swing was released on February 6, and Justin Thomas grabbed the limelight. The Netflix docuseries is all set to premiere on February 15, featuring the best golfers in the world.

The series was made by the same team that created the F1 series, "Drive to Survive." Golf is constantly facing existing threats due to aging audiences and pre-existing problems like the decline in viewership and the upcoming threat if Tiger Woods retires from golf.

In the midst of all this, the PGA Tour is having competitive threats from the newly formed LIV golf.

Drive to Survive has helped in the popularity of the F1 race among fans and now hopes are high from Full Swing. The new series generates a fraction of the audience's interest in the personal and professional lives of golfers. The latest trailer starts with Justin Thomas speaking about his career.

"You don't know what's gonna happen. I might win fifty more times in my career or I might win zero. Like, that's just the reality."

As the trailer progresses, we hear a voice in the background talking about the PGA Tour.

"The PGA Tour consists of almost fifty tournaments a year. You win tournaments, you can make millions. You lose, you walk away with nothing. "

The clip also highlights the rivalry between the PGA Tour and the LIV Golf series.

Off-camera, Justin Thomas has often talked about the Full Swing and in one of his interviews, he said:

"I saw my episode and know there's a lot of things that I shot or did and you never know if they're going to be in other things, when are you going to pop up here or there. Everyone's going to have it the same way, like 'Oh wow, I forgot I did that, I can't believe that's in there', or 'We spent so much time on this, I can't believe that's not in there'.

"It's kind of crazy to say but as a golf fan I'm excited to watch it. I know what (footage) I shot, but I don't know what Tony Finau shot, or what Rory (McIlroy) shot. It's going to be interesting and cool," Justin added.

Justin Thomas is very excited about the upcoming series and posted the trailer on his Instagram account with a caption saying:

"Is it February 15 yet?? Full Swing coming real soon."

LPGA Tour golfer Jessica Korda took to the comments section to say:

Full Swing captures the most dramatic season of men's golf with many unsung stories. Speaking about the series, Justin Thomas said:

"It is mindblowing when it started at the beginning of the year and the amount of storylines just through players and what they're trying to accomplish. I don't think anybody could have been sitting here at this time last year and said what was going to happen.

"I'm excited to watch and it couldn't have really drawn up a better year or situation as to what happened throughout the course of the year."

Full Swing is an eight-episode series that will start premiering on February 15.
