In a recent Instagram post, Justin Thomas shared that he and his wife Jillian Wisniewski are expecting their first child. The PGA Tour player said that he'll become a 'dad at the end of November.'
Thomas and Wisniewski dated for five years before getting engaged in 2021. The Kentucky natives married each other in November 2022.
Justin Thomas also reflected on his 2024 season. He finished tied for 14th in the 2024 Tour Championship. He jumped 16 spots in the FedExCup standings from 30th to 14th after the FedExCup finale. He wrote on Instagram:
"2024 season is a wrap. I’m very proud and happy about some signs of improvement that were shown. Although (per usual), I am far from satisfied. Finishing the year in Atlanta @tourchampionship is something I never want to take for granted. I look forward to working to get back there next year."
At the East Lake Golf Club, Thomas finished seventh without the starting scores taken into account. As a result, he jumped three spots in the OWGR rankings from 33rd to 30th. He carded 14-under 270 at the tournament while World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler won the FedExCup finale. Praising him, Thomas wrote:
"A massive congrats to @scottie.scheffler on an incredible and inspiring season. He has proven to be the games best week in and week out, very deserving of him winning the #FedExCup!"
Justin Thomas further expressed disappointment about not joining the Team USA in Canada for the Presidents Cup. The tournament will be played from Tuesday, September 24 to Sunday, September 29 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Quebec. He said that he understands Jim Furyk's decision and will support and watch the team, using it as motivation not to miss future events.
He further broke the news of him and his wife expecting their first child and wrote:
"It will be nice to have some time to work on things, foundation event, some R&R, and even become a dad at the end of November! While I’m excited for the “off season”, I’m already looking forward to practicing and getting ready for Maui. Thanks to everybody for countless support and kind words as I always appreciate it. That’s enough of me getting in my feels for today."
