Fans on social media have reacted to Keegan Bradley's new moustache look. The American golfer kickstarted the 2025 PGA Tour season at The Sentry last week, and this week, he returned to the greens again.
Keegan Bradley is playing at the Sony Open in Hawaii, which began its first round on Thursday, January 9. During the tournament, Bradley's new moustache look grabbed the attention of fans.
A golf fan page shared this new look on its X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:
"Keegan's mustache is so good you guys 🔥🔥"
Fans jumped to the comment section, seemingly taking a jibe at his new look. Some called it "Captains Mustache," as Keegan Bradley is set to lead the USA Ryder Cup team in the 2025 edition of the biennial tournament.
"That’s a captains mustache," a fan wrote.
Meanwhile, others gave him new nicknames.
"Keegan Dadley," another fan said.
Some praised the look.
"I think it’s the greatest I’ve ever seen," a fan wrote.
One fan dubbed him "Super Mario," while others said he resembled someone from the 1800s.
"He looks like Super Mario," another fan jotted.
"My goodness, that is like an 1800s mustache right there," one more fan added.
Some fans trolled him, saying he looked like a railway station worker or a police commissioner.
"What railroad line does he operate, I’d like to buy stock now before its a booming monopoly," another fan added.
"He looks like a NYC Police Commissioner," a fan commented.
However, a few fans compared him to Magnum, P.I actor Tom Selleck.
"Keegan Selleck has arrived. A stache like that he will never be underestimated again," another fan said.
"Is that Keegan Bradley or Tom Selleck?" a fan added.
Keegan Bradley gets candid while sharing his outlook for the season
During the press conference at the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii on January 8, Bradley reflected on his outlook for this season, saying he is on a mission to be the best player he can be. He reviewed his performances from previous years and spoke about his career trajectory. Bradley said (via ASAP Sports):
"I'm still on my mission to be the best player that I can be, one of the best players in the world. I haven't won a major in almost 15 years. I really want to contend in majors. That's number one on my list.
"I've won three years in a row. I'd like to make that four years in a row. But I really want to be looked at as one of the best players in the world. Me being the Ryder Cup captain doesn't have anything to do with that. I still feel like I'm in the prime of my career, playing the best golf I've ever played, and I want to keep building on that," he added.
Meanwhile, Keegan Bradley started his game at the Sony Open, playing the first round with a score of 69. He teed off on the 10th hole and carded two bogeys on the 11th and 12th before adding a birdie on the 18th. He made two birdies on the back nine for a round of 1-under 69.
