Kevin Kisner is officially part of the Ryder Cup. In 2025, the American golfer will join Keegan Bradley's staff to help get Team USA back in the win column. The Americans will host at Bethpage Black after being trounced at Marco Simone last year.

Bradley replaced Zach Johnson as captain after Bradley was snubbed last year as a player, and he's now named Kisner to be one of the vice captains. Kisner officially joins Webb Simpson and Brandt Snedeker on the staff.

The next step for everyone involved once the captain's staff is set is to begin considering players. Six players will make it on their own, but the other six slots have to be filled, too.

The automatic qualifications don't come until this summer, but the captains will have to analyze everyone in case the captains want to use one of their six choices to name them to the team.

Keegan Bradley discusses Kevin Kisner's addition to Ryder Cup staff

Keegan Bradley knows the importance of a vice captain in international tournaments. Before playing his way onto the roster, he was in line to assist Jim Furyk as a vice captain for the Presidents Cup.

Bradley said via the Ryder Cup website:

“Kevin is a great addition to our leadership group and will be a trusted voice throughout the coming months and this year’s Ryder Cup. His extensive match-play success and strong relationships make him a perfect fit. I look forward to working with him closely as we get ready for Bethpage Black.”

Kevin Kisner also added his own statement:

“I am incredibly appreciative of Keegan for this opportunity to help guide the U.S. team at the 2025 Ryder Cup. I love match play and the Ryder Cup is one of the greatest events in sports. I cannot wait to be a part of it and look forward to doing everything I can to support Keegan, Webb, Brandt and our talented team in September.”

The Ryder Cup is going to be held at Bethpage Black in New York from September 23-28, 2025. The remaining vice captains will be named at a later date.
