LIV Golfer Kevin Na expressed his take about LIV Golfers getting an exemption in the Golf Majors. The 41-year-old professional golfer from America and captain of the Iron Heads GC suggested that all the winners should be exempt from the Golf Majors.

The Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf League has no power over offering an exemption to all its players for the Golf Majors. Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Cam Smith, Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson are the only ones to get invitations into the four Majors this year. According to NUCLR Golf, Kevin Na said:

"Winners should be exempt, and I think you take the top-16 players or so. I think if you have a season and you finish inside the top-16, you should be exempt into all four Majors. … I know The Masters does it so that if you win a golf tournament on the PGA Tour, then you get in. I think it should be just the same for LIV.”

At present, LIV Golf is played on 54 holes, while the PGA Tour is a 72-hole competition. There's no real connection, plans or merger between the LIV, PGA and the DP World Tour.

Not every PGA Tour professional receives an invitation to the four Golf Majors, thugh. Former winners like Tiger Woods and others like Nelly Korda or Scottie Scheffler have exemptions. As reported by Golf Monthly, in an interview, Kevin Na explained his claims:

"I’m pretty confident that - in the near future - we will get exemptions to Majors. It just has to happen because there are too many good players playing out here. I know the Major champions are exempt, but - eventually - guys will run out of exemptions.
"The Majors want the best players to play. Obviously, the Majors are successful either way, but they want the best competition. And in order to do that, you have to invite the best players in the world. You saw Joaquin get a bunch of invites last year - that was just the beginning. I think, eventually, we will have a criteria from our League with a pathway straight to the Major championships, I’m not too concerned about that."
