The Ladies European Tour is returning for its sixth event. The Aramco Team series is all set to tee off at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club and Masters Course in Singapore on Thursday (March 16). The tournament will see 78 players compete in simultaneous team and individual competitions for the $1 million prize purse.
Ahead of the event, the LET officials revealed that the team members, along with their captains and fans, have reason to be excited. World No.1 Lydia Ko leads the Aramco Team Series field. Coming off the back of a forgettable T31 finish on the LPGA Tour’s HSBC Women’s World Championship, the New Zealander will be looking to make a strong comeback this week.
Aramco Team Series Singapore field
It’s safe to say that Lydia Ko will be eyeing to replicate her performance at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International this week.
While the team aspect features 26 groups of four and takes place over the first two days, each golfer will be eyeing individual battles in the 54-hole competition. Apart from Ko, players including the likes of Manon De Roey, Whitney Hillier, and three Saudi Arabia winners, 2020 winner Emily Kristine Pedersen, Pia Babnik, who won in 2021 and Chiara Noka, who triumphed in 2022, will all be on the field.
Marianne Skarpnord and Bronte Law are other names to watch out for. World No.14 Danielle Kang and Race to Costa del Sol champion Linn Grant will also be looking to leave strong impressions.
It is pertinent to note that the Ladies European Tour golfers will be playing for Rolex Rankings and Solheim Cup ranking points apart from the paychecks.
