LIV Golf announced the launch of LIV Golf Plus and LIVGolfPlus.com, the league’s new app, which will stream LIV Golf events globally outside the US. Fans will be able to enjoy live and on-demand coverage of the second season of LIV Golf League, which starts with the first event taking place in Mayakoba, Mexico, February 24-26.

LIV Golf Plus is now available for free to download over 180 territories on Google Play and the Apple Store. Fire TV will also support the app. LIVGolfplus.com will also stream the matches.

LIV Golf Chief Media Officer Will Staegar said that the introduction of the LIV Golf Plus app will ensure that fans around the globe will get direct access to live and on-demand coverage of the Saudi-backed league.

“In keeping with the content distribution strategy of other major sports leagues, the LIV Golf Plus streaming app allows more access to our content from more places for more people, spanning the traditional golf consumer to the casual sports and entertainment viewer discovering golf for the first time," said Staegar.

LIV Golf has already partnered with CW for the telecast of the league in the United States and now other parts of the world can stream the telecast of LIV Golf Mayakoba, the debut event of the season, via LIV Golf Plus as other broadcast options are not available yet.

"We are thrilled to bring our innovative coverage of the game’s biggest stars including Cam Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson to the sport’s global fanbase and are excited to grow our content offering on LIV Golf Plus in the coming seasons to drive deeper connections between viewers and our athletes in every corner of the world,” Staegar added.

Arlo White, Dom Boulet, David Feherty, Su-Ann Heng, Jerry Foltz, and Troy Mullins will be part of the broadcast team.

The first event of the 2023 LIV Golf League gets started on Friday with 12 teams competing against each other. The purse size of the event is $25 million, with $20 million in individual parts and $5 million for team one. The league will get underway at 2.15 pm ET.
