Bubba Watson will be back for the 2025 LIV Golf season despite being relegated due to his poor performance in 2024. The league confirmed Watson's return while also announcing the signing of Kiwi Ben Campbell to complete the roster of the RangeGoats GC team.

The information published on the official website of LIV Golf, inserts Watson's name among the members of the team that will join Campbell for the coming season. The team will be completed by Matt Wolff and Peter Uihlein.

Bubba Watson played in all 14 individual events on the 2024 LIV Golf calendar. His best result was a 15th place finish in Las Vegas, and he finished the season ranked 53rd with just 3.66 points.

Campbell's signing was also announced on the team's official X (formerly Twitter) account. A report from Bunkered adds that the Kiwi will join LIV Golf on a short-term contract, without specifying the length of the deal.

During the off-season, RangeGoat GC traded Thomas Pieters to Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC, leaving open the spot now filled by Campbell.

The Bubba Watson-led team, RangeGoats GC, finished the 2024 season ninth in the team standings with 56.50 points. The team had just two podium finishes, third in Las Vegas and second in Miami.

In the first round of the team championship, the team played 4Aces GC and lost 2 & 1. Uihlein won his individual match against Johnson, but Pieters lost his against Patrick Reed. In the team competition, Watson and Wolff lost to Harold Varner III and Pat Perez.

Wolff was the highest-ranked RangeGoats GC player in the individual standings last season, finishing 18th. Uihlein finished 27th and Pieters 30th.

Although only recently signed, Ben Campbell has been linked to LIV Golf for some time. Campbell served as one of the league's reserve players for the entire 2024 season, playing six rounds and tying for 37th at the Greenbrier, the only tournament he completed.

Campbell began his professional golf career in 2012 and has played primarily on the PGA Tour of Australasia and the Asian Tour. He has four professional wins, the 2010 Carrus Tauranga Open (Charles Tour, playing as an amateur), the 2018 New Zealand PGA Championship, the 2023 Hong Kong Open, and the 2024 International Series Morocco.

Campbell came close to earning his LIV Golf contract by winning the International Series, but ultimately finished third behind Joaquin Niemann and current teammate Peter Uihlein.

Campbell played all 10 events on the 2024 International Series schedule. In addition to his win in Morocco, he had five other top-10 finishes, including a second place in Hong Kong. Now he is set to join Bubba Watson's team in LIV Golf.
