LIV Golf recaps Bryson DeChambeau’s $100,000 challenge with Mr Beast

Bryson DeChambeau is famed not only for being a LIV Golf superstar, but also for producing content with celebrities on social media. The 2024 US Open winner recently shot a video with YouTube sensation Mr Beast.

Mr Beast held a contest where DeChambeau faced a regular club golfer named Aaron in a golf challenge on the course. The two competed on a 330-yard hole with the lowest scorer receiving a $100,000 reward.

However, there were conditions placed on the challenge. If Aaron were to win he would keep the whole prize money. If the Crushers GC captain were to win, $100,000 would be donated to a charity of his choice. While DeChambeau played with a regular sized golf hole, his competitor had a hole that was 50 times bigger.

The two golfers tied on the first hole. For a playoff, Mr Beast dropped their golf balls in the middle of the fairway. Aaron topped his shot from the fairway into the water hazard on the back of the green, leaving DeChambeau with a solid chance to take the lead.

The LIV Golf star placed his wedge shot to the front of the green. Faced with a long putt, he missed the putt as it lipped out of the hole and tapped in to card in a three to win the challenge.

Bryson DeChambeau 2024 LIV Golf Results

Bryson DeChambeau made 14 starts in the LIV Golf league this year and ended the year in eighth place with 105.96 points. Out of his 14 appearances, he earned points in all events except for the Mayakoba, Adelaide, and Singapore editions of the league.

He recorded his best finish of the season at the LIV Golf Invitational in Nashville. With scores of four-under par, five-under par, and three-under par, DeChambeau tied for third place and earned 18 points.
