LIV golfer Cam Smith was spotted wearing new apparel, hinting at a new deal. LIV Golf's Cleek GC has released a reel on their Instagram account, featuring players from different teams, including Bryson DeChambeau and Ripper GC captain Cam Smith.
In the reel, the Aussie was spotted wearing a Ripper GC t-shirt that featured the logo of Greyson Clothiers. With that, reports emerged that for the upcoming season of LIV Golf, even Ripper GC might have a new sponsor. They were previously promoted by Original Penguin.
Nuclr Golf shared the news about Cameron Smith's possible deal with Greyson apparel on its X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:
"SPOTTED — Cam Smith appears to be wearing Greyson apparel, a sign that another major sponsor may have inked a deal with a LIV Golf team. In recent weeks, we saw that Bryson’s Crushers inked a deal with Reebok. Now, Ripper GC may have a major deal of their own."
Notably, Greyson apparel is endorsed by some big names in the sports industry. PGA Tour golfer Justin Thomas is one of their ambassadors, along with other prominent players, including Luke Donald, Erik Van Rooyen, Luke List, Kevin Dougherty, Harry Higgs, and Sam Ryder.
In recent weeks, there have been several changes in apparel sponsorships, both on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. In the Saudi League, Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers GC signed a deal with Reebok ahead of the start of the new season.
Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Max Homa has signed an apparel deal with Lululemon. The American golfer made his debut with the new apparel at the Sentry event earlier this month.
LIV Golf's Bryson DeChambeau opens up about Crushers deal with Reebok
While speculations are swirling around Cam Smith's new apparel deal, Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers GC signed a long-term partnership with Reebok last week. The team, consisting of Anirban Lahiri, Charles Howell III, and Paul Casey, along with captain DeChambeau, will make their debut in the new apparel at the start of the 2025 season.
DeChambeau opened up about the deal, saying (via Reebok.com):
"I’m proud to partner with Reebok to usher in the brand’s return to golf. When looking for a partner for Crushers GC, we wanted to find a brand that aligns with our vision for golf’s future and has the ability to increase visibility of the game around the world, and Reebok was the perfect fit.
"With a great legacy in disrupting sport culture, I’m excited to see what we can do together to push the sport of golf to new heights," he added.
Notably, the 2025 season of the Saudi Circuit will start in Saudi Arabia in the first week of February.
