LIV Golf’s Joaquin Niemann flaunts his Masters invite, says he 'can't wait' for Augusta

LIV golfer Joaquin Niemann flaunted his Masters Tournament invite on his social media account. The Masters Tournament is the first major of the 2025 PGA Tour roster. Niemann received a special invite from the tournament's committee as Augusta National has a tradition of inviting leading international golfers who are not otherwise qualified.

The golfer shared two pictures of the Masters' invite card on Instagram. While the first photo displayed the green envelope of the card, the second displayed what was written inside the card. It read:

“The Board of Governors of the Augusta National Golf Club cordially invites you to participate in the two thousand and twenty five Masters Tournament to be held at Augusta, Georgia, the tenth, eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth of April.”

Along with Joaquin Niemann, Nicolai Hojgaard also received an invite in the same category.

Niemann also appeared at the 2024 Masters Tournament and finished at T22 along with Rory McIlroy, scoring 4 over 292. The LIV golfer shot 70 in the first round with five birdies, followed by 78 in the second round with two birdies. He scored 71 and 73 with five and three birdies, respectively.

In 2023, Joaquin Niemann landed at T16 with a score of 2 under 286, and in 2022, he finished at T35 with 6 over 294. In 2021, the LIV golfer landed at T40 with 4 over 292; in 2018, the player missed the cut line with 9 over 153.
