LIV Golf has unveiled its full schedule for 2025. On it are a few new stops as well as the regular annual tournaments.
It remains a much smaller schedule than the PGA Tour or other tours utilize with 14 events, but they are visiting nine countries this year.
Here are the brand-new events at new venues the schedule includes in 2025:
- Club de Golf Chapultepec, Mexico City
- Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, Washington DC
- The Cardinal at Saint John’s, Michigan
The season will officially begin in Riyadh on February 6. The tour will then return to Adelaide on February 14. On March 7, the league heads to Hong Kong for its first Asian tournament.
One week later, Bryson DeChambeau and company will visit Singapore. They will not play any existing tournaments in April but two new ones (Miami and Mexico City) are scheduled during the month. Miami is on April 4 and Mexico City is on April 25.
For the first time, LIV will visit Korea on May 2. That's the only tournament in the month of May. Brooks Koepka and the rest of the tour will then go to Washington DC on June 6.
Dallas, which was the venue for the Team Championship in 2024, follows on June 27. LIV Golf heads back to Andalucia next on July 11. The tour makes its annual UK trip on July 25 to close out that month.
Chicago comes after that on August 8. The penultimate event is in Indianapolis on August 15, and the Team Championship is going to be in Michigan on August 22 this year.
LIV Golf writer discusses tour's trip to iconic venue in 2025
Robert Trent Jones Golf Club hosted the 2024 Solheim Cup, the ladies' version of the Ryder Cup. This international competition between Americans and Europeans visited the iconic venue just a few months ago.
In 2025, the venue is going to have its first LIV Golf event. Gareth Platt, an LIV Golf writer, said via the tour website:
"The great Robert Trent Jones designed over 450 golf courses, and this is one of a select few he put his name to. In fact Jones considered this his masterpiece, and with good reason. Located just 45 minutes from the White House, the course is built around the stunning Lake Manassas, creating one of the most beautiful - and brutal - hazards in golf."
Thanks to the course's peninsular greens, this venue has been a big challenge for most golfers who play there. Not only has Robert Trent Jones Golf Club hosted Solheim Cups but it's also been the home of the Presidents Cup a few times since its creation in 1991.
