Brooke Henderson was recently spotted at the NHL game between the Ottawa Senators and the Buffalo Sabres. She was present at the venue to support the Senators in their first home game in nearly a month.

Henderson was last seen competing at the Grant Thornton Invitational alongside her fellow countryman, Corey Conners. Since then, she has been enjoying her break before the new season starts later this month.

On Thursday, January 9, the official NHL account shared a photograph of the 27-year-old LPGA Tour pro golfer with Brady Tkachuk (Senators' captain) and Rasmus Dahlin (Sabres' skipper)

The Ottawa Senators also shared a few photographs and videos from Brooke Henderson's visit on their official X account.

"How cool was it having hometown hero Brooke Henderson here to drop the puck?!," Senators wrote.

For the uninitiated, the Senators signed Brooke Henderson to a multiyear sponsorship deal last year. The Canadian star said it was a piece of home, and she was proud to partner with her home team.

"Show everybody who I’m cheering for and where my love is," she said last September. "And also, I feel like, with the water bottle I'll feel like one of the guys on the bench, so that’ll be pretty cool too."

The 13-time LPGA Tour winner has been an ice hockey fan since childhood. She also played the sport as a goalkeeper for the Smiths Falls Cubs for six years.

"It's such a cool opportunity," she was quoted as saying via NHL. "Growing up, I played hockey, I loved hockey and I always cheered for the Sens. So, it feels like a perfect fit, just being able to be involved with an organization that has world-class athletes who every day are pursuing their dreams and pushing themselves."

When will Brooke Henderson play next?

Brooke Henderson will next play later this month at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. The LPGA Tour season opener will take place from January 30 to February 2 at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida. She won the tournament in 2023, beating Maja Stark and Charley Hull by four strokes.

Speaking of last season, Henderson had decent outings despite remaining winless. She missed two cuts in 24 starts and registered nine top-ten finishes. Both of her missed cuts came at major championships, but she also secured a T3 finish at the Chevron Championship, the first of the five majors. Besides, she recorded four other top-four finishes and earned $1.3 million in 2024.
