South Korean golfer Jenny Shin shared her surprising experience with weather conditions in Melbourne. The LPGA Tour pro is currently enjoying the holiday season while away from the greens. She is quite active on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), often sharing her opinions on various topics.
On December 27, Jenny Shin took to X to talk about the inclement weather in Melbourne. Asking her followers if "anyone" had experienced the "crazy winds" on the night beaches in Melbourne, she wrote:
"Anyone experience that crazy wind last night on the beaches of Melbourne?"

Interestingly, a fan jumped into the comment section and shared his experience, writing:

Jenny Shin shares travel insights to "English-speaking countries"
Jenny Shin was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to the USA at the age of nine. As per her social media bio, she currently resides in California but often travels from country to country for her tournaments
On Wednesday, December 4, she shared her experience of traveling to English-speaking countries.
"I visit many countries around the world and the most common complaints of English speaking countries are “houses are not affordable” followed by “wealthy immigrants purchase our properties while we lack of supply, and they collect rent from us” therefore the rent goes up, house prices go up, while the wages remain stagnant. Do you agree?"
Jenny Shin has traveled quite often this year for LPGA Tour events. She started the season at the Honda LPGA Thailand event and tied for 18th place. The tournament was held in Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand.
She then traveled to Singapore for the HSBC Women’s World Championship, held from February 29 to March 3. Shin had a decent outing at the event and tied for 25th place. After Singapore, she played in the Fir Hills Seri PAK Championship, which was held in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
The LPGA Tour events were held around the globe throughout the year. While the mid-season events were mostly in the USA, players competed in Asia towards the end of the season.
In October, the LPGA Tour players competed in tournaments held in Asia. Jenny Shin played in three of these tournaments. She played at the BMW Ladies Championship, held in the Republic of Korea, and finished in T14 place. However, she later withdrew from the Maybank Championship after the first round event but played in the Toto Japan Classic, held in Japan, and tied for 61st place.
