Ludvig Aberg aims for a "nice stretch of golf" after recovering from knee surgery

Ludvig Aberg underwent knee surgery last fall. After a promising yet winless 2024 season, Swede started the current season at the Sentry in Hawaii. Aberg posted a fifth-place finish at the event with a score of 24-under.

Currently, he is competing at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego and is leading the standings in the suspended Round 2. The event was halted on Thursday due to high winds.

Ludvig Aberg has currently carded a score of 7-under. Having called San Diego his "favorite place in the world" earlier this week, the 25-year-old has been enjoying competing this week. Aberg talked about how his knee has not troubled him too much while also mentioning his experience playing at the Sentry.

"I haven’t had any issues since the surgery, so it’s really nice. I think Maui was the ultimate test for that. I got some blisters on my feet. That’s another story, but the knee was holding up nice. Really looking forward to coming back and playing a lot of tournaments. ... I’m looking forward to a nice stretch of golf," he said [via PGA Tour].

Professing his love for Torrey Pines, the 2025 host of the Farmers Insurance Open, Ludvig Aberg added:

"(I love) any golf course when it looks like this, when you have the views, and Torrey Pines is a really, really cool place."

The ace golfer joined the PGA Tour in 2023 and thrived in his rookie year.
