The International Team skipper, Mike Weir, was disappointed as they lost the Presidents Cup at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada. The event concluded yesterday with Team USA winning their 13th title.
In the post-round press conference, Weir shared his thoughts about the event. He said:
"It was really an incredible experience. Like you said, our whole staff, the players, wives, caddies, support staff, incredible family vibe, and there's a lot of love. The crowds were incredible. They were just so supportive of our guys for all the players."
Mike Weir said there were plenty of close matches, and it was disappointing not to register a win.
"I take a lot away from this. We're close. A lot of these matches were so close. It's disappointing not to get a win. We put our team together to win this thing, and when you don't get a win, it's disappointing, but a lot of great things to take away," the International Team skipper added.

Team USA was led by Jim Furyk while the International Team had Mike Weir as their skipper for the 2024 Presidents Cup. Team USA scored 18.5 points, while the International Team scored 11.5 points.
Team USA started off their campaign on a high note, winning five games on day one. The International Team made an incredible comeback on day two, winning five games and leveling the scores.
Despite Weir and the International Team trying hard to score, the USA did not give much of a chance to the home team and eventually won the event on Sunday, maintaining their unbeaten run at the Presidents Cup since 1998.
