One of the most celebrated players on the PGA Tour, Max Homa has officially announced two new sponsorship deals that are set to define his brand in the 2025 season. The 34-year-old's new partnerships include Lululemon for apparel and Cobra for equipment.
The announcement was made via a promotional video featuring the World No. 41 sporting the logos of his newest sponsors. Cobra announced the signing of Homa on Wednesday. The six-time PGA Tour winner will endorse their golf clubs and wear Puma shoes as part of the multi-year contract.
Speaking on the topic, he said (via Golf.com):
"I am super excited to join the Cobra Puma Golf team. Gear that’s on the cutting edge of technology and the most comfortable shoes in the game are a great combination for any player. The Cobra Puma Golf brands are undoubtedly a natural fit for my game, style, and personality and I’m looking forward to a long-term relationship that will be fun and exciting for years to come."
Rumors of a partnership with Lululemon were sparked when he was at a golf clinic in Hawaii. The former Titleist ambassador was spotted wearing blank apparel with no branding and Puma golf shoes.
The activewear giant confirmed the deal with a press release. Homa is the second golfer after fellow PGA Tour superstar Min Woo Lee to sign with Lululemon, known for their high-quality athletic wear.
Max Homa spotted using a new Cobra driver ahead of the Sentry
Max Homa is set to start his new season at the PGA Tour's first event of the year, the Sentry, from January 2 to 5 at the Kapalua Plantation Course. During the practice round, he was spotted teeing up with the new Cobra DS-ADAPT LS driver with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 7-X shaft equipped with the one-of-a-kind Future Fit 33 hosel. He was seen on the golf course, working with the company's tour rep Ben Schomin.
Here's what the new brand ambassador had to say as he left his iconic Titleist clubs behind (via Golf.com):
"Throughout the testing process with the Cobra Tour and R&D team, I was incredibly impressed with the performance of the clubs, and I think they will truly give me a competitive advantage. I love the look, sound and feel of the new DS-ADAPT driver, and the new FutureFit33 hosel is a gamer changer in terms of fine-tuning performance."
The two-time Wells Fargo Championship winner had been a part of Titleist's tour roster for over a decade. However, the new deal with Cobra allows Homa to add a few clubs to his bag that are not from the brand to ensure peak performance.
In an interview, he also announced that he will be using the Cobra Limit 3D 4-iron and King CB 5-iron along with a custom set of 3-D printed irons.
