Max Homa recently commented on PGA Tour 2K25 featuring Tiger Woods on its cover, while notably omitting his TGL partner Rory McIlroy. The Jupiter Links Golf Club player, who maintains a strong presence on X with over 688k followers, expressed his opinion on the matter via a tweet on January 14, 2025.

"Looking good. What about his TGL teammate?"

The PGA Tour 2k25 game is developed by Take-Two Interactive Software, an American video game company founded by Ryan Brant in September 1993. This company encompasses three major game publishing labels: Rockstar Games, 2K, and Zynga. In addition to the successful PGA Tour 2k series, Take-Two Interactive is also behind the popular WWE 2k and NBA 2k series.

As reported on the Forbes website, Take-Two Interactive Software had revenue of $5.4 billion in the year 2024. Additionally, the company holds assets worth $12.2B.

Homa got his place on the game's cover along with his fellow TGL golfers Woods and Matt Fitzpatrick. In another post, PGA Tour 2k25 shared two covers of the game's general as well as Deluxe edition. Tagging all the three professional golfers on their post, they wrote:

"We got you, @Maxhoma and @MattFitz94. Congrats on joining the ranks of @2K cover athletes. Stay tuned tomorrow for more info."

Homa boasts six PGA Tour victories and one international win. He has represented the USA in the Presidents Cup in 2022 and 2024 and was a member of the 2023 Ryder Cup Team. Meanwhile, Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2022 U.S. Open champion, has accumulated eight international wins and two victories on the PGA Tour. He has played for Team Europe in the Ryder Cup in 2016, 2020, and 2023.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL started on January 7, 2025 at the indoor golf venue in West Palm Beach, Florida. On the first day, fans witnessed the Bay Golf Club securing a 9-2 win over the New York Golf Club.

Shortly before the TGL started, a fan on X expressed his opinion that the tournament 'is going to be sooooo boring'. Max Homa was quick to defend the new golf league and he shared his thoughts with a repost. On January 7, 2025, he wrote:

"I’ve seen this a lot. To be honest I thought this too until I went to the arena. It blew my mind. I’m never trusting of how it will come off on tv cuz well, u know. But in person it will be one of the coolest things going. Hopefully it translates cuz they’ve thought of everything."

The first event of the Tomorrow Golf League ended with a good number of views. According to Front Office Sports, Nielsen recorded 919,000 viewers during the 9pm to 11pm E.S.T. broadcast on ESPN.

Max Homa is scheduled to tee off on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, along with Jupiter Links GC teammates Tiger Woods and Kevin Kisner. They will be facing Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala and Justin Rose's Los Angeles Golf Club.
