American baseball star Mike Trout and golf legend Tiger Woods are set to come together to build a new golf course in New Jersey. Trout recently announced his association with Woods on Monday. The golf course will be completed by 2025.

Trout took to his Twitter handle to announce his newest association with Woods. He shared a video and wrote:

"We promised you all a big announcement and here it is! We are so excited to be able to make a longtime dream of mine a reality, with none other than @tigerwoods and @tgrdesignbytw. We can't wait to share more updates with you as we create Trout National - The Reserve."

Mike Trout to collaborate with Tiger Woods

Mike Trout also announced to build a Trout National - The Reserve, which will be situated in Vineland. It will be 41 miles outside of Philadelphia and only seven miles from his hometown of Millville. Trout will collaborate with Tiger Woods and TGR Design to bring their vision of constructing a golf course to life.

Mike Trout spoke with NJ.com to share more details about the project,

"I'm so excited to finally officially announce that we're doing this project, and doing it in a community that means so much to me."

Trout also shared why he wanted to build such a high-investment project in New Jersey:

"I was born in Vineland and raised in Millville. I met my wife, Jessica, in Millville, and my parents and siblings and in-laws still live in the area. I could put down roots anywhere in the country, but Jessica and I make south Jersey our off-season home and always cherish the time we get to spend there."

According to a press release, the course will have a "trendsetting clubhouse, five-star lodging, cutting-edge amenities, a wedding chapel, and more."

However, any aspirations and ambitions of Mike Trout personally visiting the region to play for the Philadelphia Phillies should be put on hold for the time being. The golf course will be on the opposite side of the Delaware River.

Mike Trout committed to the team in 2019 by signing a $426.5 million, 12-year deal, keeping him on board through the 2030 campaign.

Tiger Woods recently started new PopStroke venue in Tampa, Florida

15-time Major Championship winner Woods, in association with his TGR designs, recently started a new PopStroke in Tampa, Florida.

Tiger Woods shared the news on February 17 on his Twitter handle by writing,

"I’m excited to share @popstrokegolf Wesley Chapel/Tampa will open to the public on Fri., February 17 at noon. It includes two 18-hole putting courses I designed with my @tgr.design team, a full-service restaurant, playground & ice cream parlor."

In 2019, Tiger Woods launched his PopStroke business, which made its official debut in Port St. Lucie, Florida. One of PopStroke's venues is in Houston, while five are in Florida.

Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team constructed the two 18-hole putting courses at the Tampa location. The difficult hole placements on the Tiger Red Course will put even the most seasoned putters to the test, while the Tiger Black Course provides a less difficult option for novices and families.

The area offers full-service dining, alcoholic drinks, a kids' playground, outdoor space, and even an ice cream store.
