Nelly Korda is missing her friends. She recently shared a video on her Instagram story from St. Andrews, where she tied for second in the AIG Women's Open to cap off the Major season. In it, a friend of hers took a putt while she recorded a video that showed off the golfing as well as the gorgeous scenery.

She captioned it:

"My camera work > his putt. Missing my pals :(."

The World No. 1 golfer was staying at the Rucksack Hotel with friends while in Scotland. Even though that tournament was just a little over a week ago, she is already feeling nostalgic and reminiscing about her time there.

Korda has had a terrific season overall, but has seen its fair share of ups and downs. She won six of 13 starts, including the Chevron Championship, to begin the year, but she also missed the cut at the US Women's Open and Women's PGA Championship. The American golfer bounced back at the Evian Championship with a T26 and finally returned to form with a near-win at the AIG Women's Open.

For a little bit during the final round, it looked as if Nelly Korda was going to capture her second Major of the year and third of her career at the AIG Women's Open. A few costly mistakes prevented her from doing so and allowed Lydia Ko to earn the win.

She opened up on her key errors via Golf.com, namely a double-bogey on the 14th hole:

“I had 58-degree and it just shot on me. The wedge shot that I had over the green was kind of sitting a little bit in a hole with some of the — whatever you call it, the ‘hay’ or whatever you call it behind it. I just can’t catch it cleanly and then obviously didn’t make the putt for bogey.”

The 17th hole proved to be problematic as well. The golfer said she had to hit to the right of the hole, but was a little too close to the back edge of the bunker. She felt like she could do it, but it didn't work out. Nelly Korda's putt was on line but she left it short, so she stumbled even further.

The 26-year-old golfer added:

“Listen, it’s golf. I’m going to mess up and unfortunately, I messed up over the weekend twice in two penalizing ways coming down the stretch. Theoretically that’s what kind of cost me the tournament but I played well. I played solid. I even fought after that. I’m going to take that into the next coming events.”

The Open, especially at St. Andrews, is one of golf's most challenging tournaments, and it gave Korda a lot of problems down the stretch.
