Nelly Korda goes out swinging in ‘not typical Florida outfit’

Nelly Korda went out to practice golf swings before the 2025 LPGA Tour season starts. The American golfer shared a video on her Instagram story shooting on the greens in a white half jacket paired with black pants and a winter cap.

Discussing her choice of outfit, Korda wrote:

"Not your typical Florida attire."

Korda joined her father, Petr, at the 2024 PNC Championship last month and has been on a break since then. During the off-season, she vacationed and celebrated Christmas with her family. Last week, the World No. 1 posted some snaps on her Instagram account.

In a selfie from the vacation, Nelly Korda wore an all-white outfit including a jacket and winter cap. She captioned the post:

"Happy New Year! ❄️⛄️ Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2025 🥰❤️ Ready to get back into the SWING of things 😍"

Korda is pretty active on social media and often shares pictures and videos. She has around a million followers on Instagram.

Nelly Korda opens up about the life of professional golfers

Away from the greens, Nelly Korda appeared on an episode of 5 Clubs on Golf Channel this week. She reflected on her record-breaking 2024 season while discussing the anonymity absent from professional players' lives, saying (at 10:00):

"I think it’s just mainly the people around you, the people that you surround yourself with. What I've learned in 2024 is that you just can't conform to what people want you to be. You have to be who you want to be, and at the end of the day, that's how you're going to thrive and be the best version of yourself.

So, having people around you that know who you are, and that kind of take you away from that life, that recharge your batteries, was super important for me. I have an amazing family, an amazing support system, and I’m so grateful for them."

Korda will return to the greens with the LPGA Tour season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. The event will take place from January 30 to February 2, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.
