The official LPGA Tour season ended a week ago, but there are still tournaments on Nelly Korda's schedule. Not surprisingly, the world number one is keeping up her training routine, including hitting the driving range.

Korda shared a video of her practice with her more than 1 million followers on Instagram this Sunday, December 1. She could be seen practicing her swing on the driving range and accompanied the post with the following text:

"Always working on the swing"

In this practice session, Korda wore black pants and an olive green hoodie, suggesting cold weather in Florida. Korda herself said so in the same post:

According to the online platform Accuweather, temperatures in Florida are ranging from 64.4° F to 69.8° F this Sunday, which is below the annual average for this region of the world.

Korda's golf swing has been widely praised in the golf world for both its effectiveness and aesthetics. Recently, renowned golf swing coach Hank Haney called it "the best swing in golf."

Nelly Korda finished the 2024 season with seven LPGA Tour victories, including a five in-a-row (one major). She also had four other top-10 finishes, including a tie for second at the AIG Women's Open.

Her results allowed her to return to the No. 1 ranking in the world, win the Race to CME Globe (LPGA Tour's internal ranking), receive the Rolex Annika Major Award and be named the circuit's Player of the Year.

What are Nelly Korda's next commitments?

Nelly Korda's next professional event is the Grant Thornton Invitational, which will be played December 13-15 at Tiburon Golf Club in Florida. It is a co-ed team event that is co-sanctioned by the LPGA Tour and the PGA Tour as part of their respective unofficial schedules.

Korda will team up with Tony Finau, as she did in 2023. A year ago the so-called “Team Finelly” finished tied for fourth at 23-under, three strokes behind winners Lydia Ko and Jason Day.

One week later, Korda will play in the PGA Tour Champions PNC Championship. This tournament will be played at its usual venue, the Ritz Carlton Golf Club, Florida, and the world number one will be teamed with her father, Petr.

Nelly and Petr Korda have played in three editions of the PNC Championship. The LPGA Tour star was first invited to play in 2021, the same year she won her first major championship, and has not missed an event since (12th in 2021, T5 in 2022 and T13 in 2023).

The PNC Championship features a 20-team field of 20 professional players accompanied by a family member. Professionals must have won at least one major (men and women) or the Players Championship (men) to be eligible.
