Nelly Korda concluded her historic 2024 LPGA Tour season yesterday with a T5 finish at the CME Group Tour Championship. She registered seven wins this season, including a Major championship. During the post-round press conference, she said she never thought she would register seven LPGA Tour wins.

"Yeah, motivated definitely, and just excited and proud of how this year went, Korda said. "Never in a million years would I have thought last year, 365 days ago, I would be here with seven wins in one season and another major championship."

Nelly Korda then revealed she is proud of the way she bounced back after missing three back-to-back cuts mid-season.

"But proud of the way I played this year. Proud of the way I bounced back after the middle of the year to win in Tampa. And, yeah, just motivated and eager to get next year going again," she added.

Talking about the goals for next year, Korda said she just wants to take it day by day.

"I'm not going to think about what I need to accomplish next year. I'm just going to think about the first tee shot, first practice round, first practice session of next year. I'm just going to take it day by day," Korda concluded.

Nelly Korda's performance on the LPGA Tour in 2024

Nelly Korda had a historic season on the LPGA Tour as she registered seven wins and was named Rolex Player of the Year for the first time in her career. The 26-year-old golfer started off her season on a high note with six wins in eight starts before going down a slippery slope where she missed three cuts in a row.

Despite that, the 15-time LPGA Tour winner kept her confidence intact and made a comeback with a T2 and T5 and eventually a win at the AIG Women's Open, Kroger Queen City Championship and The Annika, respectively.
