Nelly Korda and Ludvig Aberg have taken a new common step in their respective professional careers. Both golfers are now the ambassadors of TUMI, a prestigious luxury luggage brand, and will carry TUMI-branded backpacks and luggage during their tournaments and travels.

TUMI recently announced that Nelly Korda and Ludvig Aberg will be their exclusive representatives in professional golf. Notably, Nelly Korda and Ludvig Aberg will be the first golfers in TUMI's sponsorship catalog, which includes Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris.

Both players announced the news by posting pictures on their Instagram with the brand's exclusive products.

Following the news, Nelly Korda said (via Golf Digest)

"There’s a lot of synergy between Tumi as a brand and how I approach my game. … We share the same drive for perfection. It’s a partnership that truly feels like the perfect fit."

Founded in 1975 in New Jersey, TUMI is currently owned by Samsonite, a multinational manufacturer and marketer of luggage, bags, briefcases, etc.

Samsonite owns several of the best-known brands in the luggage industry, including eBags, Hartman Luggage, and Tumi.

Ludvig Aberg and Nelly Korda will also be in the hunt for trophies in TUMI cases

TUMI's relationship with golf continues to grow. The brand has been chosen to design the trophy cases for three important events, the TOUR Championship on both the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour and the Solheim Cup.

Commenting on this new opportunity, Victor Sanz, Tumi's Creative Director, said (via Golf Digest):

"Millions of travelers around the world choose Tumi to protect what they value most every day. We’re thrilled to bring that renowned strength and design ingenuity to protecting these trophies, which symbolize years of hard work, dedication, and passion from top players in the sport."

Nelly Korda will be competing for both the Solheim Cup and Tour Championship trophies. Korda has already secured her spot on the American team for the Solheim Cup and will be looking for her first victory at the event. The 2024 edition at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia will be Korda's fourth appearance.

The World No. 1 also earned a spot in the CME Group Tour Championship. Her six wins this season (five in a row, one major) put her atop the LPGA Tour points list.

As for Ludvig Aberg, he also has a good chance of making it to the TOUR Championship and competing for the trophy.

Aberg is ranked sixth in the FedEx Cup standings. To make the field for the final event of the season, he must be ranked in the top 30 after the BMW Championship, the second event in the FedEx Cup playoffs.
