Nelly Korda reacts to young fan’s ‘cutest’ cosplay of her for Halloween

LPGA player Nelly Korda recently reacted to a young fan's Halloween costume inspired by her. One of her fans, Melissa Morse posted an Instagram story in which she dressed her children as Korda and Scottie Scheffler.

In the Story, a little girl is dressed up as Korda with a golf outfit, cap, and a putter in hand while a young boy is dressed up in golf attire as Scottie Scheffler. The fan captioned the story:

"Day 3 - Champions Day. Sent Nelly Korda off to Kindergarten and Scottie Scheffler off to Pre-K 2."

'Day 3 - Champions Day' likely refers to a theme chosen by parents of the children where the kids dress up as champions or sports icons. Korda reposted the story on her Instagram and wrote:

"The cutest!"

Korda is recovering from a neck injury she had two weeks ago. She withdrew from the LPGA Tour events in Malaysia and South Korea because of it.

"Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update regarding my upcoming schedule. Unfortunately, I've had to withdraw from the LPGA events in Korea and Malaysia due to a minor neck injury I sustained while practicing."

"I'm disappointed to miss these events and am especially sorry to my fans who were looking forward to seeing me play. I’m currently resting and working with my team to get better. Thank you for all your support—it truly means the world to me!"

Korda will next compete at 2024's The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican from November 14 to 17 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. Her upcoming schedule for the remainder of the year is as follows:
