Nelly Korda shares major throwback images to confirm new event with dad

Nelly Korda recently shared a major throwback image on her Instagram story with her father Petr Korda. In the picture, she announced her participation in the PNC Championship later this year.

The image was originally shared by the official handle of the PNC Championship on Instagram. In the image, a young Nelly is seen kneeling with a golf club. She is dressed in a white tank top and shorts. Her father Petr is standing nearby holding the flagstick.

Golf balls are scattered on the ground with her older sister Jessica Korda standing next to her. Korda's brother is also seen in the background practising a swing. Another 'Now' and 'Then' picture with Korda's father was also shared. PNC Championship captioned the post and wrote:

"We’ve got no. 1! Excited to share that current world number one @nellykorda and her dad Petr will return for their fourth PNC this December."

The 13th edition of the PNC Championship will be held at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida from December 20-22. Sharing the picture on her Instagram Story, Korda wrote:

"Daddio and I will see yall in December :)"

Talking about her participation in the tournament, she said (via LPGA):

"I'm so excited to be back at the PNC Championship this year. Teaming up with my dad for this event is always so much fun and it’s become one of our favorite weeks of the year. Competing alongside so many legends of the game is an experience that never gets old, and there's no better way to end the year than to play with my dad in the PNC."
