Nelly Korda tries out new clubs in latest swing videos

Nelly Korda had a fantastic 2024 season and appears to be fully prepared for the upcoming year as well. The World No. 1 recently took to Instagram to share a video of her testing new clubs.

Korda was practicing at the Soleta Golf Club in Myakka City, Florida. Several golf clubs were lined next to her as she hit a shot. The US golfer had donned an all-black attire except her white shoes and white cap.

Korda is sponsored by golf equipment giant TaylorMade. She mostly uses their clubs in her bag. Along with TaylorMade, she has an enviable list of sponsors with the likes of Nike, Goldman Sachs, Delta Airlines, T-Mobile, BMW Group, Cisco, Whoop, Richard Mille, and Grant Thornton.

Nelly Korda had a 2024 season made of dreams. She secured seven LPGA Tour titles and picked up her second Major win at the Chevron Championship. The 26-year-old was also a part of the Solheim Cup-winning US team. She also recorded eleven top-10 finishes. Naturally, the World No. 1 was also named the LPGA Player of the Year.

She would be looking to emulate a similar success in the upcoming 2025 season.


Nelly Korda becomes the eighth highest-earning female athlete of 2024

In a single season, Nelly Korda managed to double her career win total in 2024. Her dominance in the circuit was so unchallenged that the margin between her and World No. 2 Ruoning Yin was the same as between Yin and World No. 117 by the end of last year.

After the LPGA Tour Championship, Korda spoke of the historic year she had.

"Never in a million years would I have thought last year, 365 days ago, I would be here with seven wins in one season and another major championship. Just motivated and eager to get next year going again," she said. (via Golf.com)

To add another feather to her cap, the star became the world's eighth-highest-earning female athlete with $12.5M to her name last year. She won $4.5M in cash prizes and earned $8M in sponsorships and endorsements. Korda was the only golfer to make the tennis-dominated top 10 list.
