Paige Spiranac has given her verdict on Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL after the first season kicked off on Tuesday, January 7. She mentioned that players in the league appeared relaxed, which will help them showcase their personalities better in this format.

Paige Spiranac is a former golf professional who is currently one of the most popular figures in golf. She has over 4 million followers on Instagram and more than 1 million on X.

On Tuesday, Spiranac took to X to share her first impressions of the TGL.

"Watching the launch of TGL and I have to say it’s fun to see the guys more relaxed! I think we will really get to see their personalities shine in this format," she wrote.

The first TGL match took place between Bay Golf Club GC and New York Golf Club GC on Tuesday. Bay Golf GC posted a comfortable 9-2 win over New York. The first nine holes were played in a triples alternate shot format, with Bay Golf winning the first, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth holes. New York won only the ninth hole and halved three other holes.

The next five holes were played in a singles format, and here too, Bay Golf dominated over New York. Shane Lowry, Wyndham Clark, and Ludvig Åberg won their holes, while New York's Rickie Fowler won the only hole for his team. The last two holes were tied by both teams.

The next TGL match will be played on Tuesday, January 14, with Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links GC competing against Los Angeles GC.

On Monday, January 6, Paige Spiranac took to X to raise concerns about her fake social media accounts. She wrote:

"I really hope platforms start to prioritize getting rid of impersonation accounts. It’s wild how many fake accounts there are of me and how many unsafe situations it has caused me and others. I know it’s a real problem for so many"

In addition to her social media accounts, Paige Spiranac owns a website called "Only Paige," which she launched two years ago. Recently, however, she switched to Passes, another subscription-based platform, to share her exclusive content.
