Paige Spiranac recently held a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram, during which, she was asked who her favorite golfer was to have played golf with. The former golfer turned content creator had an unexpected answer in store as she named 2011 Open Champion Darren Clarke.
Giving a detailed explanation as to why he picked Clarke as the favorite golfer to have teed off with, Spiranac said (via her Instagram Story):
"I have been so lucky to play with so many amazing professional golfers. But there's one round that definitely stood out. Darren Clarke. He was so funny. He told the best stories. And he was really helpful too with his tips. He knew exactly what to say to make you play better, have more fun and it was seriously one of the best rounds that I have ever had," Spiranac said.

"It was a champions pro-am and I also played with Charles Barkley too. It was like the best group ever," she added.
During the aforementioned Q&A session, Spiranac sported a pastel pink top and tied her long blonde hair in two pigtails using cute, floral hair ties. She also addressed questions regarding her mental health, authenticity, Passes account among other questions.
She had played with Darren Clarke and Charles Barkley at MLB Hall of Famer Derek Jeter's invitational golf tournament for his Turn 2 Foundation in 2022.
When Paige Spiranac praised Bryson DeChambeau: "He just was really pleasant to be around"
Paige Spiranac wasn't the biggest fan of LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau. However, she later admitted that she had changed her opinion and spoke highly of the ace golfer. Spiranac had participated in an episode of DeChambeau's 'Break 50' series on YouTube as well as other videos on his channel. She had even called him her favorite male golf influencer during a Q & A session with her fans on Instagram last year.
When asked about her opinion of him by a fan on social media, she had nothing but praise for him. She also hoped that people get to see the "kind and funny and self-aware" version of Dechambeau, saying:
"It was great. He is shockingly different in person than how a lot of us have perceived him over the years. He is kind and funny and very self-aware, and we had a conversation about that. I’m like, ‘I wish people knew this version of you,’ and although he might have matured and changed over the years, it’s drastically different and I feel bad that he had to endure that amount of like bullying," she said (as quoted by SI Swimsuit).
DeChambeau is known for thinking differently as a golfer and has always come up with revolutionary ideas, using technology to his aid. Paige Spiranac complimented his thinking saying:
"He just was really pleasant to be around and I learned so much. He has like such an interesting brain when it comes to golf and how he views things."
Paige Spiranac was last seen playing a round of golf at the Creators Classic last year. She was one of the 16 golf content creators invited. However, Spiranac placed T8, while Luke Kwon won the inaugural edition of the event.
