However, she also mentioned that hitting a good shot quickly reassures her, making her realize she might have overreacted and that "everything is fine."
"Had one of those days hitting golf balls where I hit one bad shot and then was sent into a panic spiral and then couldn’t remember how to even hold the club and then wanted to quit and then hit one good shot and then realized everything is fine and I *may* have overreacted," Spiranac wrote.
Paige Spiranac was once a professional golfer who competed on the Cactus Tour. She defeated Hannah O'Sullivan in 2016 to win a tournament. Although she attempted to qualify for the LPGA Tour, she did not succeed. She later transitioned into modeling and began creating videos for social media.
Paige Spiranac shared her worst experience on the golf course
A few months ago, Paige Spiranac uploaded a video on her YouTube channel, describing her worst outing on the golf course. It was one of those days when she struggled to make perfect shots and even lost her tee ball in the grass. She hit a ball from a downhill position towards the hole, but it traveled in the wrong direction.
Spiranac walked up the hill to search for her ball but couldn't find it anywhere. Frustrated, she said:
"I will say there's no worse feeling as a golfer than hitting a good shot and not knowing where your ball went. And there's like a part of you that wants to check to see if you made it or not, and then you didn't, and now you're like. Okay, great now, I'm just off the green somewhere I don't know where I am at." (2:46)
However, she eventually found the ball downhill in the grass and attempted a shot but failed to sink it into the hole. Determined not to give up, Spiranac returned to the initial tee position and hit the ball again. This time, she hit three balls simultaneously, so she did not have to return and take the shot again. She wanted to continue playing with the three balls, hoping to sink one at least.
However, it was an unfortunate day for the former golfer as she continued to struggle to get even a single ball into the hole. Spiranac returned to the original position once more and hit three more balls. Fortunately, this time, she managed to get one of them straight into the hole.
