Paige Spiranac has not been posting as often recently on social media. She's a former golfer turned content creator, but she hasn't been creating as much content lately.

It's something that caught the attention of some of her followers, and one of them asked about it on an Instagram Q&A.

Spiranac took a long time to thoughtfully respond to the question:

"Honestly, I have just been having kind of conflicting feelings about social media lately. It's changed a lot from when I first started doing this. Where now authenticity seems manufactured, and it's all about doing over-the-top stunts that are so fake."

She went on to say that everyone in the social media space takes themselves "way too seriously," before adding:

"Everyone has inflated egos, and it just doesn't feel real or genuine anymore. I kind of lost my spark for posting and wanting to create. You have to play the game to grow on here, and I was just tired of it."

She said that's why she's leaned into Passes, a subscription-based social media platform. Spiranac said it was "creative" and "organic" in a way her normal social media hasn't been.

"I feel good now, like I'm in a good place now but I was just feeling very odd."

She apologized a few days ago for the lack of content as well. The content creator teased big things coming in the future once she gets back to posting more regular content.

Golf analyst wants to see Paige Spiranac join TGL

TGL has had a dramatic drop-off in television viewers lately. The first two weeks were promising, but the third week saw a 32% drop. One golf insider thinks a few tweaks could get it back and help it enjoy good ratings.

First, Outkick's Joe Kinsey wants to see it create a villain for fans to root against and for there to be more fanfare in general. That includes adding Paige Spiranac to the roster.

"My proposal to save the TGL: Tiger immediately hires Paige Spiranac to join his team as a player. Each team hires an Instagram golf influencer; Put Grace Charis on a team; Claire Hogle gets a spot; Bri Teresi is brought in."

Kinsey also suggested that they put gambling front and center by having golfers literally put their money on the line during a given shot or round. These things are unlikely to come to Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's league any time soon, but it is what Kinsey thinks would spark a lot more fan interest.
