Paige Spiranac shares the one thing she would like to change about golf

Since the origins of modern golf in the 15th century, the game has seen many changes and it has evolved to the form we see it in today. Over the last few years, fans have seen new formats such as LIV Golf come into existence, which aim to provide a more entertaining experience for the fans.

During her Q&A session on Instagram, a fan asked Paige Spiranac what is the one thing she would like to change about the game of golf. Spiranac replied by saying she wished there would be more acceptance of new ideas and diversity. Spiranac said:

"I wish there would be more acceptance of new ideas and diversity within the game. Because golf is built on tradition, and that's something a lot of us really love, including myself that we tend to get stuck in our own ways, and when something new happens or a new idea, we tend to be very pessimistic about it and I think ultimately that is hurting the game."

Further explaining her ideas, Spiranac said there was no issue for her in trying new things and seeing what works and does not work. She added that people are not getting into the game of golf because of stereotypes that suggest golf is old and not welcoming. Spiranac concluded by saying she thinks a part of it is true and hoped the "fun" side of golf could be projected public.
