The PGA Tour has signed a deal with FanCode to stream golf events in India. Recently, the American Golf series inked a two-year contract with the mega Indian digital sports streaming service.

With this deal, around 40 PGA Tour events from the regular and fall season FedEx Cup tournaments would be televised in India. Along with the PGA Tour events, PGA Tour Champions tournaments will also be available on the platform.

FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco opened up about the exclusive deal and shared his excitement about it. He said, via Sportcal.com:

“This deal reinforces FanCode’s commitment to offering a diverse range of sports content to our audience. Golf fans in India can now enjoy premium access to the sport’s most iconic tournaments and top players, all at their fingertips.”

Notably, the PGA Tour already started its regular FedEx Cup season earlier this month in Hawaii. The American golf series features regular golf tournaments along with signature events. Following the regular season, some FedEx Cup fall season tournaments take place after the conclusion of the Tour Championship.

With the new deal with FanCode, the PGA Tour has extended its roots to the Asian country as well. Meanwhile, LIV golfers are also gearing up to play in India next week.

LIV golfers including Bryson DeChambeau to play in India

Golf is extending its reach in India, and next week some of the top-ranked golfers from LIV Golf are scheduled to tee off in Gurgaon, India. Fifteen Saudi League players will be playing at the International Series India presented by DLF. It's an Asian Tour event, which will take place from January 30 to February 2.

The field will feature two-time Major winner Bryson DeChambeau accompanied by his Crushers GC teammates Anirban Lahiri and Paul Casey, along with other LIV golfers including Joaquin Niemann and Abraham Ancer. Last month, DeChambeau shared his excitement to play in India. He said:

"I'm super stoked to be going out there and see your beautiful country, always wanted to travel to India. I personally can't wait to get out there and showcase some great golf, along with the rest of the team, and we're looking forward to a great year in 2025, we'll see you guys soon, and take care," he added.

The tournament will take place at the Gary Player-designed DLF Golf and Country Club. It's a private golf club that has two golf courses. An 18-hole course was designed by Gary Player, while another nine-hole course was designed by Arnold Palmer.
