PGA Tour Champions star Boo Weekley is known for his iconic Ryder Cup move. He recently posted a tweet on X asking his followers if he should "recreate this in the new HappyGilmore 2 movie."

At the 2008 Ryder Cup, Weekley channeled his "Happy Gilmore" as he faced Oliver Wilson in Sunday singles. The American mimicked riding a bull as he marched down the opening fairway. In the Happy Gilmore movie, Adam Sandler 'rode the bull.'

Weekley comfortably won the match against Wilson by 4&2. He recently took to X and quoted his iconic Ryder Cup move, asking his followers to comment and share if they agreed.

"Anyone else think @booweekley needs to recreate this in the new #HappyGilmore2 movie that @netflix is making??" Boo Weekley said.

The USA won the tournament by 16.5-11.5 against Europe and registered its first victory in the 21st century. This was Boo Weekley's only Ryder Cup appearance. His overall record at the tournament was 2–0–1. It was held at Valhalla Golf Club in Lousiville, Kentucky.

Recently, Netflix announced that Happy Gilmore 2 is officially in production. Adam Sandler took to Instagram and wrote:

"It ain’t over. The way I see it… we’ve only just begun."

The iconic imitation by Weekley cemented his place in golf folklore. However, there's no confirmation if he'll play the role in the sequel.
