PGA Tour FedEx Fall series 2024: Eight-event schedule starting in Napa explored

Following the conclusion of the 2024 Tour Championship, PGA Tour players will head to the upcoming fall season events. There will be eight FedEx Cup Fall events, starting with the Procore Championship, which will take place in Napa from September 12 to 15.

These eight PGA Tour events will be held over the next three months, the final fall event being the RSM Classic. There will be only one event in September before the players head to the Presidents Cup.

The October schedule will kick off with the Sanderson Farms Championship, which will begin on October 3 and conclude on October 6 at The Country Club of Jackson.

Additionally, the Black Desert Championship will debut in the FedExCup Fall season. The newly announced full-field PGA Tour event will take place from October 10 to 13 at Black Desert Resort Golf Course.

While announcing the new event, PGA Tour Executive Vice President and President Tyler Dennis said the organization was looking forward to collaborating with Black Desert Resort. He said (via PGA Tour):

"We are thrilled to partner with Black Desert Resort in bringing PGA TOUR golf to the state of Utah. In introducing the PGA TOUR – and the LPGA the following year – to a new market, we look forward to collaborating with the Black Desert Resort team in their vision for professional golf in the Greater Zion community. Competitively, our members will enjoy the challenges and incredible views that define the Black Desert Golf Course.”

November will start with the World Wide Technology Championship and feature three events before concluding with The RSM Classic.

After the 2024 FedExCup Fall, there will be two more events, followed by the PGA Tour Q-School tournament for Korn Ferry Tour players. In December, there will be the Hero World Challenge, a limited-field unofficial event organized by Tiger Woods. This will be followed by the Grant Thornton Invitational, a mixed-field event featuring both PGA Tour and LPGA Tour players.
