Michael Kim is one of the most active golfers on social media, especially X. He recently gave a wakeup call to the PGA Tour and asked them to be a bit more proactive with their content on YouTube after the news of Tiger Woods featuring on Grant Horvat's YouTube Channel surfaced online.

Woods recently played golf with YouTube golf sensation Horvat. The golf YouTuber is all set to publish the video of their game on his YouTube channel tomorrow at 12 PM EST. He informed this news on his X account and shared a selfie with the legendary golfer.

He shared the tweet with a caption:

"It happened. Tiger Woods"

PGA Tour pro Michael Kim replied to this tweet and said the PGA Tour needs to wake up.

"Pgatour needs to wake up and lean way more into creative content on YouTube. That’s how the younger generation are watching golf and other sports."

YouTube golf is gaining immense popularity, especially among the younger generation. Hence, professional golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson are starting their own YouTube channels and posting golfing content.

However, the PGA Tour so far has been continuing its age-old strategy of sharing the tournament highlights, some best shots of the season, the best moments of players, etc.

Despite being on YouTube for over a decade, the PGA Tour currently has 1.52 million subscribers, while Bryson DeChambeau, who recently started a channel, already has 1.67 million subscribers. Hence, Michael Kim has suggested the PGA Tour be a bit more creative with its content on YouTube.
