An online netizen named Matt Smith posted a query on X on October 9. He posted a screenshot of weather conditions on October 10 at East Lake Boulevard, Lakeland. The screenshot showed that the wind speed ranged from 39 MPH to 96 MPH throughout the day. Next, he asked a question, tagging S. Kim.
“I wonder what scores on the @PGATOUR would look like in these conditions. Could have some drivable par 5’s and some driver-3 wood par 3’s. What do you think @Mike_kim714 could you guys break 125?” the cybercitizen asked.
In response, Kim replied with a humorous take:
“Golf balls wouldn’t stop moving unless the grass was rough height… i also might fly away and never play golf again haha,” Michael S. Kim wrote.
Further, the golf enthusiast replied to Kim, saying:
“Might have to let guys hit a moving ball for the week. I’m sure @PhilMickelson wouldn’t mind that rule change.”
Michael S. Kim is not currently playing in any professional tournaments. His last event was the Sanderson Farms Championship, where he missed the cutline.
