George Bryan IV recently participated in the PGA Tour's Creator Classic and also participated in the Myrtle Beach Classic earlier this year. Competing in the Q-School's first stage held at Bermuda Run Country Club in North Carolina from October 15 to 18, the 36-year-old tied for 15th at the first stage.
In the first two rounds, George scored 70 and 74, and his qualification to the next stage didn't seem feasible. However, he rebounded with rounds of 69 and 68 in the last two rounds and had an aggregate score of 3-under 281.

George Bryan IV missed the cut at the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic
In May, George Bryan IV competed in his second PGA Tour tournament in the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic. His first PGA Tour tournament was the 2023 Bermuda Championship, where he tied for 69th place.
George carded 73 and 70 in the first two rounds and missed the cut by three shots. However, he reflected on a 'memorable' outing and said (via Myrtle Beach Golf Tips):
"The first tee shot (Thursday), it all goes silent, and then I hear (son) Andy yell, 'Hooray, daddy.' I melted (and) I've never melted on the golf course, where I didn’t even know if I was going to make contact (with the ball). It was really cool to look back on and be like, man, so many memories were made," George Bryan said.
"(I) really didn’t know what to expect, but I knew it was going to be special one way or the other – regardless of whether I shot 80-80 or 65-65. To shoot 73-70 was something that I’m going to remember for a long time," he added.
He further added that his parents were there to watch him at the Myrtle Beach Classic and to feel their support was incredible.
George Bryan IV was born to George and Valerie Bryan on January 12, 1988, in Columbia, South Carolina. His father George competed in the 1999 PGA Championship at Medinah and currently runs a golf academy.
