PGA Tour Pro Jordan Spieth set to make a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2
Former Masters winner Jordan Spieth will be part of Happy Gilmore 2. Earlier this month, on December 4, in his interview with SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, Spieth shared details about shooting for the movie. He revealed several big names, including Jack Nicklaus and Rickie Fowler, to be part of the movie.
"When I was up there it was like Lee Trevino, Nicklaus, Freddie, we had Corey Pavin. In our scene next to me was Rickie and Collin and Xander and Keegan. So, I mean, yeah, it was really fun. It was super cool to see. There's a lot of other guys that were there before and after that have bigger parts. But it was just, it was wildly entertaining. I'm interested to see what comes out of it," Spieth said.
"I'm not actually sure how much I'm allowed to say to be honest, but it was something that, I mean, I was such a fan. Weren't we all growing up? Like, people who don't know golf are like, ‘Oh, have you ever seen Happy Gilmore?’ And it's like, well, we get the opportunity I'm gonna go try and be in it," he added.
Aside from them, John Daly, Keegan Bradley, Collin Morikawa, Corey Pavin, Xander Schauffele, and Lee Trevino will have a cameo in the movie. Happy Gilmore is set to be released in July 2025 on Netflix.
Meanwhile, the movie stars Adam Sandler in the lead alongside Julie Bowen as Virginia Venit, Allen Covert as Otto, Dennis Dugan as Doug Thompson, Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin, Ben Stiller as Hal L, and Jake Hoffman as Happy's caddie.
