PGA Tour pro Michael S. Kim was "pretty disappointed" by Rory McIlroy's hilarious short drive. Recently, the DP World Tour shared a video of McIlroy's unfortunate shot during the European Tour season's concluding event, the DP World Tour Championship.

The World No. 3 missed his shot during the game. The clip showed McIlroy preparing to hit a powerful shot, but unfortunately, the ball only traveled a short distance.

Sharing the clip, the DP World Tour wrote:

"Rory's shortest drive of his career"

Michael S. Kim jumped to the comments section to take a jibe at McIlroy and wrote:

"Pretty disappointing haha I expected better"

Notably, Rory McIlroy won the 2024 DP World Tour Championship. He started his campaign at the tournament with an impressive round of 67 before shooting 69 in the second. He shot 68 in the third round and finally wrapped up with a final round score of 69, thus winning the tournament. McIlroy has enjoyed a stellar 2024 season, showcasing impressive performances on both the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.

McIlroy won two PGA Tour events this season, including the Zurich Classic and Wells Fargo Championship. Meanwhile, on the European Tour, he won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and the DP World Tour Championship.

Rory McIlroy wraps up 2024 with a victory against LIV golfers

Rory McIlroy recently teamed up with fellow PGA Tour player Scottie Scheffler for a match against LIV players Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka.

They competed in The Showdown and recorded an impressive victory in the game, which concluded on December 17 in Las Vegas. Speaking of the dominant win, McIlroy said (via CNC Sports):

“Scottie and I got off to a pretty good start and then from there it was just about trying to keep the momentum.”
