Phil Mickelson shares his excitement about LIV Golf's new deal with FOX
The Saudi league has signed a broadcasting deal with Fox Sports ahead of the start of their new season. Earlier this week, Phil Mickelson had an interview with Fox Business, in which the six-time Major winner opened up about the deal and shared his excitement about it. He said (via Fox Business):
"FOX has always been on the forefront of innovation and cutting edge fan experience and audience experience, and that’s exactly what LIV is trying to do with the golf world. "
"It’s helping us create a lot of value for our sponsors, and sponsors are coming more now with the value that FOX brings. And hopefully, it’ll be added value for FOX and be consistent with that cutting edge, innovative, younger target audience," he added.
Meanwhile, Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers has also signed an apparel deal with Primo ahead of the 2025 LIV Golf season. In the upcoming season, his team will be donning Primo products on the greens.
Speaking about the deal with Primo, Mickelson revealed his collaboration with Primo ambassador Grant Horvat and also shared his excitement about his LIV team having joined hands with the company. He said (via LIV Golf):
"I was challenged to wear the Primo joggers at the Open Championship after losing a match against Primo ambassador Grant Horvat. It turned out to be a game-changer. As I said, I wasn’t sure I could pull off wearing the cool, fashionable joggers but I have fallen in love with them and the rest of Primo’s outstanding product line. I’m excited the HyFlyers will be rocking them during our season."
The upcoming fourth season of LIV Golf will start on February 6 in Saudi Arabia.
