Phil Mickelson and Grant Horvat tease YouTube collaboration with two-time major champion LIV Golf star

LIV Golf star Phil Mickelson and YouTuber Grant Horvat recently announced a collaboration with fellow LIV Golfer and two-time major champion, Dustin Johnson. Horvat posted a hilarious teaser on his X account on Sunday.

The 16-second clip features Horvat asking Mickelson:

"So Phil, how are we going to get in this guy's head?"

The LIV Golfer responds by saying:

"Grant, I have been there. I have looked around. There is nothing there."

The camera slowly pans to a very confused Johnson asking the duo:

"Who you guys talking about?"

According to the caption, this special YouTube collaboration will be releasing on Monday, January 27 on Horvat's channel.

In the teaser, Horvat and Phil Mickelson were seen sporting black pull-overs and white trousers. While the YouTuber was wearing apparel from the brand's collection, Mickelson chose his LIV Golf team HyFlyer GC's uniform that Primo is officially sponsoring for the 2025 season.

Dustin Johnson also wore his team, 4Aces GC's official uniform, sponsored by Extracurricular.

It is no secret that Phil Mickelson hated the use of the joggers during golf tournaments. However, over the years, his stance on the informal trousers has softened.

His team HyFlyers GC has even partnered with Primo, a brand known for its joggers, for their upcoming LIV Golf season. Lefty even admitted to have fallen in love with joggers although he was initially unsure whether he could pull off the "cool, fashionable" wear.

HyFlyers GC made a video to announce the new partnership. Mickelson also revealed Grant Horvat's hand in pushing him to try joggers. Horvat is also associated with Primo.

"I was challenged to wear the Primo joggers at the Open Championship after losing a match against Primo ambassador Grant Horvat. It turned out to be a game-changer," Mickelson said (via LIV Golf).

"As I said, I wasn’t sure I could pull off wearing the cool, fashionable joggers but I have fallen in love with them and the rest of Primo’s outstanding product line. I’m excited the HyFlyers will be rocking them during our season."

The Hall of Famer with his HyFlyers GC teammates Brendan Steele, Cameron Tringale and Andy Ogletree will be seen sporting Primo's apparel in the 2025 LIV Golf season. Mickelson could also be seen wearing joggers on the golf course for an event for possibly the first time ever.

The Saudi-backed league will hold its season-opening event from Febraury 6th to 8th, 2025 in Riyadh.
