After 24 years, however, Paul Casey and Peter Kostis decided to part ways. Kostis recently announced the split on his X (formerly Twitter) account, explaining that the reasons for the separation are “both personal and private.” He wrote:

"Every teacher/student relationship has a half-life. Long term relationships are getting rarer and rarer these days and I'm proud of the number of students I've had for 10-15-20-30 years and even longer in a few cases! Reluctantly, after 24 years I feel it's best for me to step away from my work with Paul Casey. My reasons are both personal and private and will remain as such. Helping him become an elite ball-striker and world class player from the days he left ASU all the way to today was a very rewarding journey and I wish him well going forward.

The English golfer has won 21 professional events, including three on the PGA Tour, and reached a career-high ranking of No. 3 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Peter Kostis is a renowned golf instructor who has worked with several golfers over the years. He has an academy named Peter Kostis Learning Academy at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has worked with professional golfers including Bernhard Langer, Chez Reavie, and Mike Schmidt.

Phil Mickelson is also known for his long-term partnership with his coach, Andrew Getson. They have been working together since 2015. Previously, Mickelson worked with swing coach Butch Harmon from 2007 to 2015 before partnering with Getson.

Mickelson has enjoyed a successful career under Getson’s guidance, winning his sixth major title in 2021 at the PGA Championship. He became the oldest golfer to win a major at the age of 50 years, 11 months, and 7 days.

Since 2015, the American golfer has won three events: the WGC-Mexico Championship (2018), the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (2019), and the PGA Championship (Major, 2021).
