Grant Horvat has 726k subscribers on YouTube and 644k followers on Instagram. After the first round at the Open Championship, Horvat posted on X and said:
"Lookout for the joggers tomorrow! Feeling a good round out of Phil."
Phil Mickelson had a decent first round at the Royal Troon. He scored 2-over 73 and was tied at 42 at the end of the day. On the front nine, he scored, four bogeys and two birdies, whereas on the back nine, he scored one bogey and a birdie.
Responding to Grant Horvat's post, Mickelson responded with one word with a smirk emoji. He said:
"Same."
Mickelson has missed the cut in the last five of the six starts at the Major and looks in a comfortable position to make Friday's cut. A good round can help him jump up on the leaderboard.
Phil Mickelson will partner with Joost Luiten and Dustin Johnson for the second round. He will tee off at 3:47 am EDT.
Daniel Brown currently sits at the top of the leaderboard with a score of six under. He is followed by Shane Lowry and Justin Thomas.
