Rickie Fowler continues unique FedExCup Fall streak at Zozo Championship

Rickie Fowler is enjoying a good outing in the fall season tournaments so far, as he has now carded ten consecutive sub-70 rounds in the FedEx Cup fall season events. The American carded rounds of 68 and 64 at the ongoing Zozo Championship.

Fowler started his fall season campaign at the Sanderson Farms Championship after a break of almost three months. Fowler had a strong outing in the tournament, shooting all four rounds under 70. He opened with a 69, followed by consecutive rounds of 67, before carding a final round of 68 to finish tied for 16th place.

Following his impressive performance at the Sanderson Farms Championship, he teed it up at the Shriners Children's Open and again shot four rounds under 70. He began with a 66, followed by a round of 68. He finished with rounds of 69 and 68 to place T23.

He maintained this impressive streak at the 2024 ZOZO Championship, as the American golfer shot a 2-under 68 in the first round, with four birdies and two bogeys, followed by a 6-under 64 in the second round, which included seven birdies and a bogey.

Rickie Fowler started his 2024 PGA Tour season at The Sentry, where he shot rounds of 70, 67, 75, and 70, finishing in 56th place. He missed the cut at The American Express but tied for 47th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. In total, he played 22 events this season, making the cut in 16 of them.
