Rickie Fowler reveals how he got on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon

Rickie Fowler explained how he got onto the Jimmy Fallon show. The latter is one of the co-owners of the TGL team New York Golf Club and Fowler leads the team along with Xander Schauffele. On Monday, Fowler came to the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote TGL and their team.

Fowler later explained how he thought that Fallon was involved in bringing him and other TGL players on the show to talk more about Tiger Woods' league, which will start in January 2025. Yet, Fowler wasn't sure about Fallon’s involvement.

“Yeah, so that's, you know, that's how we got on the show. I don't know if he was involved. I don't know if he would have really have wanted us on there,” Rickie Fowler said (17:40-17:48).

Smylie Kaufman explained how Fallon might have wanted the TGL golfers on the podcast show.

“He's there. He's like, you guys come up, we'll get you on. And so now you're ahead of the curve as far as people trying to pick a team.” (17:30-17:40)

The 2025 TGL will have six teams on the roster including Atlanta Drive GC (with Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, and Lucas Glover), Boston Common Golf (with Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, and Adam Scott), Jupiter Links GC (with Tiger Woods, Tom Kim, Max Homa, and Kevin Kisner), Los Angeles Golf Club (with Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose, and Sahith Theegala), New York Golf Club (with Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, and Cameron Young) and The Bay Golf Club (with Ludvig Åberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, and Shane Lowry).
