Rickie Fowler's honest fatherly advise to Justin Thomas - "All ends up being trial and error"

Rickie Fowler is all set to play at the upcoming Sanderson Farms Championship, which will be held at the Country Club of Jackson. Ahead of the championship, Fowler was part of a press conference in which he was asked about various topics related to golf and outside the sport.

One such question Rickie Fowler was asked was about Justin Thomas, who announced last month that he and his wife were expecting a child. In the press conference, Fowler was asked if Thomas reached out to Fowler for any advice and whether Fowler has any advice for Thomas when he becomes a father.

Rickie Fowler answered:

"Yeah, I spend a lot of time with JT and his wife Jill, and they're getting closer. They're going to be great parents, whether they ask or get advice from us or anyone else. I think a lot of the stuff I've told them is things that worked for here or worked for other people or other babies. It all ends up being trial and error. You make decisions on your own, move forward with it. If it works, great; if not, move on to the next thing."

Rickie Fowler added:

"I guess I've always told people in a way, I tell myself, too, whenever things get a little questionable or worried is there's been a lot less comps of people that have done this successfully before us as well as we've been doing this since the beginning of time."
