Rory McIlroy's campaign at the 2025 Dubai Desert Classic came to an end with a T4 finish. After four rounds of thrilling golf at the Emirates Golf Club, McIlroy scored 70-71-69-66 276 (-12) to tie with Niklas Norgaard. However, it would be unfair to say McIlroy didn't have a good time in Dubai.

After all, the Irish professional golfer won the 2024 Seve Ballesteros Award, as he was recognized as the best player on the DP World Tour for the fourth time in his career. On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), McIlroy shared a post in which he spoke about this award and summed up his experience in Dubai.

"I’ve been playing the @DubaiDCGolf since I was 16 and everything from the course, the fans and the city makes it my favorite way to start the season. Winning the Seve Ballesteros Award this year and staying at the incredible @RoyalAtlantis made it even more memorable."

Dubai indeed has been an ideal destination for Rory McIlroy as no golfer has won the Dubai Desert Classic as many times as McIlroy has.
