Scottie Scheffler has been confirmed for his official return at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2025 which starts next week. The pro golfer is recovering from a punctured wrist following an unfortunate accident during last year's Christmas.
Following his severe right-hand injury, Scheffler had to stay away from golf for a bit, which delayed the start of his 2025 season. On January 24, 2025, journalist Ron Kroichik confirmed the World No. 1's return to Pebble Beach. Underdog Golf posted this news on its official X account.
"Scottie Scheffler (hand) has committed to AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, per @ronkroichick"
Scheffler has already missed The Sentry and The American Express 2025. His entry holds significant value to the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which has 80 players and a $20 million prize purse. Last year, Scheffler tied for sixth place on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am leaderboard, finishing 13-under. Due to severe weather conditions, organizers had to reduce the competition to 54 holes.
This is going to be his first competition in about six weeks after he underwent surgery to remove glass shards from his hand. Following an amazing 2024 season, Scheffler will make his season debut at this signature event in Pebble Beach. Along with the 2024 Olympic Games gold medal winner, Jordan Spieth will also be making his return next week.
